• Building and maintaining Linux system images for our embedded targets (NVIDIA Jetson / L4T, x86 industrial platforms) — bootloader, kernel, device drivers, rootfs, secure boot, encrypted storage
• Maintaining containerized build environments and cross-compilation toolchains; Docker, CMake, Dotnet
• Designing and running CI/CD pipelines: automated builds, test execution, artifact management, reproducible and traceable releases
• Automating provisioning and configuration of development, test and target systems
• Administering our on-premise infrastructure: virtualization, storage, backup, networking, monitoring and logging
• Tuning systems for real-time and safety-critical workloads — kernel configuration, scheduling, network and I/O behavior
• Hardening deployed systems and implementing reliable update and recovery mechanisms

• Experience building, customizing or administering Linux(Debian/Ubuntu) images for embedded targets
• Working knowledge of the Linux boot chain, filesystems, systemd, networking and dependency management
• Automation and scripting in Bash
• Experience with containers (Docker) and at least one CI/CD system (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Confident administration and architecture of both production and test environments, with an infrastructure-as-code mindset
• Ability to work independently, debug systematically and document what you build

Nice to have

• Kernel-adjacent work: device trees, kernel modules, serial (RS-422/485) and CAN interfaces
• Real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT), EtherCAT or other fieldbus systems
• Secure boot, dm-verity, LUKS and related integrity mechanisms
• Ansible, Terraform, Nix; Proxmox or comparable virtualisation platforms
• Experience with deployment and orchestration for edge deployed systems
• Experience working under a formal quality or safety standard (IEC 62443)
