Your role

  • Develop and maintain low-level embedded software for high-performance microcontroller/microprocessors (ARM architecture)
  • Perform hardware bring-up and debugging of new circuit boards
  • Develop bare-metal firmware and drivers for responsive control systems
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to identify root causes for faults and suggest hardware improvements
  • Develop communication protocols and prepare documentation
  • Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineers throughout the product lifecycle

What we expect

  • University degree in Electronics Engineering or another related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in embedded software development
  • Familiarity with bare-metal programming of high-performance embedded processors (ARM Cortex-M7, Cortex-A family or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of C, C++, Python, and ASM
  • Excellent knowledge of electronics engineering, fluent in reading schematics/reference manuals
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering and physics
  • Practical experience with test & measurement instruments
  • Knowledge of software version control systems (Git or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision
