Your role

  • Lead the functional safety development of safety-critical electronic functions and architectures
  • Analyze circuits and systems to identify failure modes, fault propagation, single-point and latent failures, common-cause failures, and design weaknesses
  • Define hardware, firmware, diagnostic, and system safety requirements, including safety mechanisms and fault-handling strategies
  • Perform and review FMEA/FMEDA, FTA, dependent-failure, and reliability analyses
  • Work closely with hardware, firmware, systems, and verification engineers to ensure safety requirements are correctly implemented and verified
  • Own the safety documentation, requirements traceability, and safety case, and support design reviews, qualification, and technical assessments

What we expect

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in safety-critical electronic systems
  • Excellent understanding of analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, microcontrollers, power architectures, sensors, communications, and diagnostics
  • Strong practical knowledge of functional safety and standards such as MIL-STD-882,  DO-254, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, or equivalent
  • Ability to translate safety analysis into clear, implementable, and verifiable hardware and firmware requirements
  • Ability to understand and challenge designs down to component, signal, and failure-mechanism level
  • Ability to lead the functional safety process independently
