Your role
- Develop user interfaces for the operation and control of remote weapon stations
- Design and develop backend services and communication interfaces between subsystems
- Develop computer vision solutions, including video processing, object detection and tracking
- Integrate hardware components such as cameras, radars, motors and various sensors
- Test, maintain and document software
- Participate in team meetings and code reviews
- Work primarily on-site due to the nature of hardware integration and testing
What we expect
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least three years of professional experience developing software in C# (version 10+) using .NET (8+)
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- User interface development (WPF, Avalonia, WinUI or similar)
- Backend development (ASP.NET Core, gRPC/REST, databases)
- Computer vision and image processing (e.g. OpenCV)
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading (async/await, Task Parallel Library)
- Experience writing clean, modular and well-tested code
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Availability to work on-site at our headquarters
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following will be considered an advantage:
- Understanding of .NET memory management (Garbage Collector, allocations, Span<T>)
- Experience working with video streams or multimedia frameworks (e.g. GStreamer)
- Experience integrating hardware or developing real-time systems
- Performance analysis and diagnostics using dotnet-trace, dotnet-counters, PerfView, dotMemory, dotTrace, BenchmarkDotNet, and crash dump analysis
- Experience with native interoperability, including P/Invoke, marshalling, SafeHandle, unsafe code and native memory ownership
