Design and develop system architecture for remote-controlled weapon systems. Lead integration across mechanics, electronics and software, support testing and optimisation. On-site in Komenda.

Your role
- Define system architecture, requirements, interfaces, and overall system verification
- Establish and implement systems engineering processes, including the use of PLM tools
- Lead system integration and solve challenges at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, and software
- Provide hands-on support in testing, verification, and optimization of weapon systems
- Analyze and understand the physics of fast-moving electromechanical systems (inertia, vibrations, resonances, loads)
- Make trade-off decisions between performance, reliability, cost, and development timelines
What we expect
- 5+ years of experience in developing complex electromechanical systems
- Strong understanding of electric drive systems (motors, power electronics, sensors, control systems, protections)
- Experience with PLM tools and understanding of the product lifecycle
- Ability to write clear, verifiable system requirements
- High level of independence, accountability, and decision-making ability under uncertainty
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge different disciplines
- Slovenian citizenship is required
Nice to have
- Experience implementing PLM/ALM tools in a startup environment
- Knowledge of standards related to functional safety, EMC, or reliability
- Experience in industrial automation or robotics
