MANGART 300 is a state-of-the-art medium-calibre remote controlled turret, developed for integration with modern 8x8 or tracked armoured fighting vehicles.
Weighing under 2 tonnes, its main armament is an Mk44 Bushmaster 30x173 mm chain gun featuring a dual feed system, complemented with an FN MAG or H&K MG5 7.62x51 mm machine gun. For customers requiring a different weapon configuration, the turret can also be prepared for a 25 or 30 mm medium-calibre cannon with minimum modifications. The 50 mm cannon option will also be available soon. The turret features stabilisation of the cannon and the optical sight. It can also be equipped with Valhalla’s roof-mounted remote weapon station, consisting of a 12.7 or 7.62 mm machine gun.
A big advantage of the MANGART 300 turret is its storage space for more than 300 rounds of 30 mm munitions – a 50% plus compared to the competitors. Valhalla has used innovative engineering to enable reloading of the main armament under armour.
Modular design makes it possible to customise the turret configuration with ATGMs, several smoke grenade launchers, loitering missiles, radar or electronic countermeasures.
